  • Description
The objective of Work Package 07 is to find and verify potential predictive biomarkers for avoidance of adverse immune reaction (AIR). We plan to perform exome sequencing on blood samples of patients with prosthesis loosening and patients having prosthesis without any complication over years to find potential genetic markers to evaluate the susceptibility for adverse reactions. These results will be supplemented with a gene expression analysis on cultured cells, as explained in Work Package 05. The deliverables of Work Package 07 are: a) list of variants found to be different between patients who do have an AIR and patients who do not have an AIR, b) Sanger- sequencing validation for bring out biomarkers indicative for an AIR, c) predictive model of AIR for patient classification.
